Printed vases sell, at markets, in shops, on Etsy. The printing is the easy part. What trips makers up is the licence behind someone else's file. Design your own vessel here and the question does not arise: the form is yours, and so is the right to sell it.
Downloaded files carry someone else's licence
Most files from model libraries come with a personal-use licence. Selling prints of them ranges from murky to plainly forbidden, and the better your stall does, the more that asterisk matters. A design you made yourself carries no asterisk.
There is a craft reason too: a downloaded bestseller sits on a hundred other tables. A form you shaped, patterned and proportioned yourself sits on yours.

Free: the full studio, signed on the base
The full studio and watertight export, with 19 patterns to shape and stack. Every free piece is signed on the base with the VASE 3D maker's mark.
Maker: sell what you make
A clean base with no forced mark, 80 patterns, and an unlimited library. You can stack 6 patterns from the same family on one piece. This is the plan the market stall runs on.
Foundry: run a branded line
Everything in Maker, plus all 246 patterns, 10 from the same family on one piece, and your own custom maker's mark debossed into the base, the way a potter stamps a foot. Details on the pricing page.
A family, not a file · same foot and rim, four surfaces
One form becomes a product line
Because the studio is parametric, a form that sells is the start of a family: resize the profile into a set of three, swap the pattern for a second colorway of the same silhouette, and keep the foot and rim that made it recognizable. Matched sets bundle; families become a shelf.
A one-of-a-kind form and a clean base remove two real obstacles, and the rest, photos, pricing, showing up, is the same craft it has always been. We hand you the vessel and the rights; the stall is yours.
Common questions
Can I sell prints made on the Free plan?
Yes. You own what you design on every plan. A free export is signed on the base with the VASE 3D maker's mark, debossed into the foot. The Maker plan gives you a clean base with no forced mark, which is what most sellers want.
What happens to my rights if I cancel?
Pieces you designed and sold while subscribed stay yours; the rights on work you already made do not expire, and the files you already downloaded stay yours. What changes is new exports: while you are not subscribed a new export carries the VASE base mark, and a design using paid patterns cannot be exported again until you subscribe.
Will buyers see a watermark on my vases?
On the Maker plan, no: exports come with a clean base and no forced mark. On Foundry you can go further and deboss your own maker's mark into the base, the way a potter stamps a foot.
