Terms & Conditions

Last updated 8 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the website vase3d.io, the VASE 3D studio app, and the launch waitlist (together, the “Service”), operated by Afek Hershko (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1.The Service

VASE 3D lets you design 3D-printable vessels in your browser and export files for printing. It is offered on a free plan and paid plans, and some features are still being rolled out. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Anything we say about upcoming features, timing, or pricing is a statement of current intent and may change.

2.Your account

To use the studio you sign in without a password, in one of two ways: with Google, or with a one-time sign-in link we email you, which works once and expires after 15 minutes. Both give us a verified email address. Google’s signed response may also contain your name and Google profile picture; it never gives us your Google password. There is no VASE 3D password to set, reset or lose. Joining the launch waitlist is separate and takes only an email address. You are responsible for your account and for what happens under it, so keep your sign-in secure and give us accurate information. An account is for one person; please do not share it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

3.Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is your own and is accurate.

4.Your designs and your content

You keep ownership of the vessels and designs you create with VASE 3D. The studio works from the copy in your browser. While you are signed in, it also stores an account copy of saved vessel parameters, saved glaze mixes and related studio records so saved work can follow your account; rendered thumbnails and the live vessel on screen remain on the device unless you publish or export them. To the limited extent we need to process or store a design to run the Service — for example to keep that account copy, build a preview or export through our engine, or host a design you choose to publish through a share link — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to do so for those purposes only. Direct print ordering through VASE 3D is not built. You are responsible for what you design and share, and you confirm you have the right to do so.

Exports made on the Free plan include a small VASE 3D maker’s mark and a link code on the base of the piece. Paid plans can remove it or use your own maker’s mark.

5.Plans, subscriptions, and billing

VASE 3D offers a free plan and paid plans. The price and what each plan includes are shown before you buy. Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record: your purchase is a billing contract with Paddle, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the payment. Tax is included or added as Paddle determines for your location.

Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed after that. We do not give pro-rated refunds for a period already started, except where the law gives you a right to one. Nothing here affects any statutory cancellation or refund right you have as a consumer, or any refund Paddle grants under its terms. If we change a plan’s price, we will give you reasonable notice before it applies to your next renewal.

We may run a promotional period in which some or all paid features are open to everyone at no cost, such as a free week at launch. A promotional period is time-limited and we will show when it ends. It needs no card, it does not become a paid plan, and nothing is charged when it finishes — your plan simply stays whatever it already was. It is a gift, not a purchase or a contract of sale, and we may end or change one at any time; if you are already paying for a plan, a promotional period never reduces what that plan gives you.

Some monthly plans may offer a free trial. A trial needs a payment method at checkout, and we tell you its length and the price that follows before you start it. Nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, the plan begins and the stated price is charged and renews as described above, unless you cancel before the trial ends, in which case nothing is charged. Each customer may use one trial. A trial is not a promotional period: it becomes a paid plan unless you cancel it.

6.The waitlist

Joining the waitlist, or asking to hear when a plan opens, registers your interest and lets us notify you. It is not a purchase, a contract of sale, or a guarantee of access, timing, specific features, or pricing. You can leave at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. We handle the details you give us as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit other people’s personal data without authorisation; provide false information; design or share anything unlawful or infringing; misuse, overload, probe, or attempt to disrupt the Service; or try to scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy our geometry engine, or to bypass the sign-in or the limits of your plan. We may suspend access to protect the Service or its users.

8.Intellectual property

The Service and all of its content — including the VASE 3D name and logo, text, imagery, the node library, and the software and geometry engine behind it — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you no licence to use them beyond using the Service as intended. Your own designs remain yours, as set out above.

9.Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties, each governed by its own terms: Paddle (payments), FacFox (print fulfilment, once we connect it — ordering through us is not built yet), and Google (sign-in, if you choose it — the one-time emailed sign-in link involves no third party beyond the mail provider that carries it). The full list of who can receive your data, including services that are not switched on, is on the privacy page. We are not responsible for those services beyond our own part in connecting you to them.

10.No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that a design will print as expected on any given printer or material. Features still being rolled out may change or be withdrawn.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12.Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply after your access ends.

13.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page with the “Last updated” date above. For material changes we will give reasonable notice where we can. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
